If you would like to support our school in anyway we would love to hear from you.
This could include helping out with sporting or cultural groups, assisting students in classes, providing financial support or praying regularly for the school.
If you would like to get involved please email the school office at office@rcs.school.nz, and we will be in touch!
Please note that all volunteers that have independent time with children or are regular volunteers in the school are required to go through the Police Vetting process.
Our enrolments for 2024 have now closed.
If you are interested in being placed on the waiting list for 2024 or enrolling your child at Rolleston Christian School in 2025 then please complete the Pre-Enrol form through the link below. Someone from our office will then contact you to arrange a meeting with our principal. This meeting will allow you to learn more about our school philosophy and practices. We’d love to hear the hopes and dreams you have for your child, and how we can work together to see those come to fruition.
Once you have met with us, read our Statement of Faith and Educational Practices thoroughly and have decided that RCS is the school for your family, please confirm your intention for enrolment with us before 30 August 2024. Please note enrolments for 2025 close on 30 August 2024.
State-integrated schools allow parents a choice in the type of education they provide for their children. As a state-integrated school, we do have an attendance due that is paid directly to the proprietor of the school. In 2024 this fee is $1500, and purely covers the cost of the land and buildings.
Attendance Dues information https://www.cst.org.nz/rolleston-christian-school/
Our agreement with the Ministry of Education means we are primarily here to offer a choice to Christian families. To ensure this is the case the Ministry of Education sets regulations around the numbers of students that are able to attend our school that do not come from families with a connection to the Christian faith. The Ministry of Education also sets a maximum roll number for our school, in our case this is 300. This means we can only take limited numbers at each year level to ensure we do not exceed this number, particularly in the future as our numbers grow.
In order to ensure the entry into our school is fair and transparent we have a closing date for enrolments. Enrolments close for all students, including New Entrants, wishing to join our school community in 2025 on August 30, 2024.
